MA, CA, and NY Have the Largest Number of UU Congregations: The Answer to Today’s Quiz

Donald O’Bloggin, after a slight false start, correctly guessed the answer to today’s question: the top three states, in terms of number of UU congregations, are Massachusetts, California, and New York.  Eric Posa also helpfully rounds out the top five by adding Texas and Florida.  Next on the list would be Illinois.

While the dominance of Massachusetts should surprise no one, it’s worth noting that there are important areas of UU congregational representation in areas outside of New England.  This brief list includes the West Coast, South, and Midwest as well.
