UU Trivia Question of the Day #31

To many, the UUA seems like the Mothership of UUism, or perhaps the Vatican–some sort of huge, opaque, bureaucratic entity with the ability to hand down decisions from Boston that affect the rest of the denomination. That’s not a terribly accurate portrait, but the UUA is the most centralized organization within Unitarian-Universalism.

So, exactly how many people are employees of the UUA? We’re not looking for unpaid positions here, such as most Board members.

Extra bonus question: do the majority of those people work inside or outside the Boston area?
